The highs and lows of my 3-week Mini ownership
First, the high:
Two weekends ago we took the first car trip in our CM out to visit the in-laws. Everything fit (!), got 30+ mpg, great weather, awesome trip.

We took out my father-in-law's GTO for a drive, and lined up the Mini next to it for a hilarious size comparison. The GTO is *4 feet* longer than the Mini.

Fast forward to last friday, and we have the low:
Idiot in a hotel shuttle van turns in front of me, with the following results.

Nooooooooo!
Sorry to hear of the incident (I don't believe "accident" is an appropriate word when idiots are involved - not aimed at you).
Bright side is that it looks like its mostly body work. Hopefully the wheel linkage damage is easily replaceable and not too severe. Are you and your motorers okay? In the grand scheme, that's the most important. Sheet metal, paint and other parts are replaceable. I imagine it's frustrating, but hopefully you'll be zipping down the roads again real soon.
