R56 2007 S Clutch Failure.
2007 S Clutch Failure.
So I brought home a beautiful pepper 2007 S today, and not even 10 minutes after getting her does the clutch go out... I really don't know what to do, I'm locked into a loan now and I think the dealer should pay for this seeing as I paid 570 dollars in dealer fees including their "inspection". What's disappointing is the car was purchased from a multi million dollar dealer line local in my area. Shouldn't they of noticed the clutch was worn enough that within a few hours it goes out on me? Please help, this is my first mini and I'm really distraught.
Just think, your getting a Mini with a new clutch. I am pretty sure you have a strong case, but that a lawyer won't be needed. They should fess up.
BTW, if they hesitated a second, every person on the lot would have heard me. Including the people test driving at the time.
"Son, just go get one of the owners. They don't pay you enough to get the a** chewing I am about to give."

Precisely what is the clutch doing? We get a lot of people here relating that their clutch suddenly fails - typically this is not a problem with the clutch itself, but something in the mechanism that causes the clutch to disengage.
