Has anyone used the Swift Motorsports hidden motorized plate holder? Wondering about the clearance issue

 

depends how low your car is (stock, lowered, bagged, coilovers, etc)
i've seen plenty of these to know they would clear on a mini no problem but your two issues are
mounting location (it's all plastic down there)
low spots of daily driving( speed bumps, "that pothole", driveways, etc)

 

I had the non-motorized version but I recently had to remove it because I lowered my car even more with coilovers. My license plate is all scratched up running it with HSport springs previously. You can see it sticking out of my front lip a little bit in this pic.
