There were several comparisons we made to decide our final vehicle configuration. We hoped we would find it at the dealer already, but that was not the case. After discussing all the options with our MA, we came up with our starting configuration.
We first signed up for a car already in the manufacturing schedule that was close to what we wanted and test drove it. We decided we wanted different options after driving, so we ordered a car that had the changes and waited for it to arrive. Things we compared to make decisions.
We would strongly recommend you drive cars with different options to see what works for you.
Automatic vs. manual transmission - we went with manual.
Halogen vs. xenon vs. adaptive xenon headlights - we went with adaptive xenon.
Manual vs. automatic climate control - we went with automatic.
Sunroof or not - we did not get the sunroof.
Standard or HK audio - we went with standard.
Connected and/or Nav - we chose to not get Connected or Nav
Leatherette, leather+cloth, leather seats - we chose leatherette
Harder to get comparisons that come to mind (we were not able to compare):
Standard or sport suspension - we went standard.
Standard 17" or larger wheels - we went with 17"
Summer or all season tires - we went with all season.
Standard vs. automatic wipers - we went with automatic.
Standard or dimming mirrors - we went with standard.
On test drives we took the car out for an extended drive. We had picked out some rough freeway, twisty interchange ramps, quiet roads. We drove both daytime and night.
When we took delivery, we repeated the route we had previously used, listening for rattles or noises, making sure all the controls worked. We looked the car over for finish blemishes. When all was OK we drove it home.

Unfortunately for me, I did not make my self, I will buy already made one
,almost basic, I don't need any other options.
only things I got $1500 off. There are lack of CM's stock.
I'm live in Orange county,
I've been 5 dealers and negotiated a price but they want me to order
or wait lots of weeks.
They also offer me little.
finally, I found a one dealer, and they have one that is similar to what I want.
they offer me $1500 off from MSRP with 2.9/72 month.

automatic
no sunroof
no xenon light
no nav or connet

please, give me idea about this too,
I think I going to be like this A HUGE-MINI.
even this is for my wife.
I usually drive a 5.7 V8 Tundra, LIFTED, Big one, Anyways.
please let me know you guys story
thank you
Well i know there were a few post that went over what people pay and how much they were able to get off the price. The margins don't seem very large. but you can get some off and also look for any exisitng deals.
My experience with ordering one and on trying to get one on the lot. was the price was the same just had to wait. It make a difference. the supply and demand for MINI is about the same for new.
I ended up finding a used one and got some extra optins that i was not going to order for the same price if I did orer, like ALL4 and the extended maintenance plan.
Hope this helps. Good luck! As long as you are happy with your choices then we will be happy for you!!
