RMW-Eksten 2012 Revived!!!!!!
Ok I am talking to that special tuner and trying to get him out here to Rochester now that snow SHOULD be gone for a while and the Miniacs are coming out of the garages! Usually the tunes are on Fridays and Saturdays.
Costs are
R53 TUNE $350.00 RETUNE $50.00
R56 TUNE $500.00 RETUNE $100.00
DYNO TIME FOR TUNE $150.00
9:00 to 4:30
base dyno 2 pulls $100
If people want to use my driveway for injectors or whatnot I am less than an 1/8th mile away and have some tools if you are lacking. I am hoping to get him out here in early May. I also plan to ask him about VIPEC kits, tuning and maybe doing some other BMW's unless we get enough Minis. Let me know your preferred time! Thanks!

VIPEC is a standalone option for R53s. It replaces the stock ECU in factory location and allows full control of engine and cooling systems and more. I think it costs about $2300 with base map

Well, with the lack of interest in this thread, looks like options to a tune
in Rochester are needed. I posted info. on the local Toronto Mini site but no interest there either.
At least my car in running strong on the original Jan tune but I did want to upgrade after a 2% Ati pulley upgrade. Looks like I'll have to be satisfied with what I've got and keep an eye on future possibilities. I'm not interested at this point driving too far afield!
Cheers, Ed
