Suspension Help! Is this an ALTA PSRS Bushing?
Help! Is this an ALTA PSRS Bushing?
Hoping I can get some help here. Below are pics of the driver's side lower control arm bushing on my 2005 MCS. Is this an ALTA PSRS Bushing?
I'm getting a lot of rattle in the front as I go over bumps. I was going to replace these bushings with Powerflex bushings. Now I'm thinking this is a better set up and the rattle may just be that these allen bolts holding the sleeve to the control arm need tightened or the whole setup needs lubricated.

It looks like the system, but I am confused by everything being painted red. There is also a part number "11B04" stamped on the bracket.
Help and info identifying these would be much appreciated. Thanks!

It doesn't look like an alta to me, but is doesn't look stock either so someone who has been around a while will have to think back.
My thoughts are that you may want to have the replacement bushings ready (you can sell them if you don't use them) and take a good look at this once it is apart. Something like this should have zero play in it and if you get it in your hands and it has slop (from running un-greased it might be worn out) you will have the parts to get on the road the same day.

Do these need to be lubricated periodically? I'm getting a lot of noise up front going over bumps. I had the MINI on a lift last week and there was a slight click from these bushings under load.
