People have been posting this up on facebook, I was curious if anyone knows anything about the performance of these tires? It looks to be a semi slick with a lower tread wear than Toyo R888 or Advan AD048.

I was thinking of getting a set for my R56 Turbo S for AutoX since its not a bad price point, but I havent had any experience with Semi-Slicks, any one have any advice or opinions?

My Mini is a bit conservative with 17x8.5 Enkei RPF1's and basically a stock motor with some KW Coilovers, but i think these would be pretty cool to run on the track.

 

Looks like there isn't much real world data out there yet.

For autocross, I don't think it will be nearly as fast as the Hoosier A6. Then again, nothing really is. The V710 is close, but that's it.

Looks like a direct competitor for the Toyo R888, a track day tire that you can drive home on, and not have to park and sleep in the car if it rains. Probably worth a shot for track days.

I could be wrong, and they may be the next hot R compound for SCCA, but I'm not doing the beta testing at $245 per corner.
