Tire Size Options? (18x7.5, 40mm offset)
Tire Size Options? (18x7.5, 40mm offset)
Just ordered these for my R56 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...00_i00_details) and am trying to figure out the optimal tire size. My goals are basically these:
Depending on how things look once they're on the car, I'm considering some springs at some point. If a tire size might leave the door open on this, that would be a plus (but not essential). Some sizes that come to mind thus far (feel free to comment on these, any pluses/minuses I should consider?):
Any advice welcome!
- avoid rubbing
- work with the stock/oem suspension
- get reasonably close to the OEM wheel diameter in total

Awesome, thanks for the tip! I went ahead and ordered some 215s. I was considering 225s for some more sidewall and pothole protection, but with brand new wheels I want to play it safe as far as fitment and rubbing goes. If all goes well I may consider switching to 225s next time I need new tires.
