I'm waiting for some NAM reviews before I buy. Although they do look pretty sweet!

It ships from Taiwan. That's on the other side of the earth. How far can one drive on $20 of gas in a car or boat? Bet it doesn't get one to the other side of the planet.

Packaging, labor, clearing customs & gas... Adds up. Guess one can always travel to Taiwan & pick up or not purchase at all.

I think it was $700-$800 to ship a CM. Stuff can't always be free.

i like it, but from the pic is hard to see what it would look like on the cm. might not even look that much different?

Should look pretty cool on the CM, replacing most of the white of the OEM; though it depends on how well it blends in with the rest of the scuttle.

Am I the only one who thinks they look kinda cheesy? Very 80's looking to me I guess...They kinda remind me of the light saber special effects in Star Wars...

Oh no no no, I love me some Star Wars. Don't get me wrong. But I'm not going to using it as inspiration for decorative add-ons on my CMS anytime soon. (short of that giant Chewbacca vinyl I have planned for the hood of course...)

Nothing a little VHT Nightshade wouldn't fix.(That's a black out product that would make it so you would only see it when it's lit up.) IMO the scuttles as they are are about as cheesy as they could possible be and I bet there is a designer that created those that can't believe they cheaped out with that little crappy .56 cent wedge bulb all the way at the bottom. The first thing I did when I got mine was dremel the fixture in half and try(unsuccessfully) to install a strip of LED lights. I think they are horrid.

The original scuttle lights are pretty large to house that tiny bulb on the bottom. I'm interested in seeing these new style reflectors installed. Either chrome on chrome scuttles or black on black scuttles might be a improvement.
