Conclusion on the Best Cold Air Intake for the CTM S?

1.) Really intered in alta's CAI, but it don't seem to work with the countryman S since there's no hood scoop, is that right?

So, im looking forward to the NM engineering one? Or the K and N intake system? (link below)

2.) What mods should I get to gain HP, Intercooler? Downpipes? all those pipes? (No ECU tuning)

3.) Can you please recommend me some MINI accessories sellers that are cheaper than the MINI dealer around California? (Any place actually, Shipping is fine actually)
Exterior caps, mudflaps, center rail accessories JCW badges, driving lights, exhaust tips etc etc
Alta pipes, Forge Intercooler? exhausts?

thanks!

oh btw last but not least can somebody please explain what these do and which would be the best brand for it?
4. Air Charge Pipe (NM engineering)
5. Discharge Pipe (NM eng)
6. Front Strut bar (increase front grip?)
7.
Hot side Boost tube (ALTA)
8. Silicone Turbo Hoses forge
9. Intercooler Reasonator delete hose. forge
10. Bigger intercooler forge or alta?

Check out my post here on the exhaust mods I did to my car... http://www.countrymanmotoring.com/20...trip-mods.html

I'm loving my exhaust... as far as an intake goes... I've heard the the NM is the best one out there, although it doesn't have a closed box and it can suffer from heat sync, I'm still going to go with one of those.

Also check out Way Motor Works for the parts... Waylen is a great guy and he has pretty competitive prices.

If anyone on this thread is local to San Francisco and wants to help us develop the new CAI for the Countryman S, drop me a PM or email.

Best,

-Clint
