When is the last time you checked your lug nuts?
I rotated the tires on our "new to us" 2009 MCS. Whomever put the wheels on last must have put 200ft lbs of torque on those bolts.
I had to use a breaker bar to loosen them.
Once rotated I torqued them with a proper torque wrench to 103ft lbs from the owners manual.
For those with a spare or who hope to change their wheels ever, it might be a good idea to check the torque on your bolts.

Not yet, but when my tires were changed in November, the TIREVAN technician showed me the breaker bar he used for three of the wheels. He did use a torque wrench to tighten all the bolts afterwards. I decided to buy the brown-line torque digital display wrench after that. Cool discount for NAM members.
Several times a year. When I change from winter to summer tires/wheels, and again a few days later,
(and from summer to winter, too), and after inspection or any other work done by me or someone else
where a wheel was removed.
