The monkey, it's relentless.

I'm talking about the Mod-monkey... the one securely planted on my back.

Happens with every new car I get! It's a curse.

So now I find myself looking to create some relationships with Mini-specific shops here in the OC. The problem? Not too many are touching R60s for some reason. I'm pouring through posts, reading reviews, and watching video. I know exactly what I want to do, have the money to do, but lack a full resource bank of hands-on wrench turners. Impatient much? Yeah, I'm a kid at heart... with big hands that have a hard time inside the tiny R60 engine compartment.

So anyway, I just wanted to thank you guys for your knowledge, advice, and commiserating. I look forward to more.

Please keep us updated with your car!

I've done a few mods with mine... Tune, Downpipe, Exhaust, LED light swap, etc

Check out www.countrymanmotoring.com which is a blog I co-run.

Here is my exhaust http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGfNPkeEJ_I

Keep us updated!

Thanks, Kyle!

Blog bookmarked. I've seen that exhaust video posted in another thread. Sounds fantastic.

I'm behind a keyboard 9 hours a day and behind the wheel for 4. LA traffic mostly, unfortunately. But I do get to run the mountain roads on the weekends and have some trips up the coast planned for the summer. I'll be sure to post any upgrades here.

Thanks again..

Awesome!

Good luck with your mods and the sweet California mountain roads you have!
