Today I was working in my garage. My MINI was in the driveway after a nice drive with the top down. My key was laying, buttons up, on my work bench with nothing within 6" of it. I heard a car drive by (didn't see what it was) but I heard my trunk solenoid. You know what it sounds like and you can't miss it.

I walked out to the MINI and sure enough, the trunk was unlocked.

This is a first for me (3 years). Has anyone else had this happen

OK, it's Saturday. Yesterday and today, oddly enough, every time I got in my MINI, started it and drove 10-30 feet, my trunk unlocked. The squeeze "handle" does not work, only the fob. I found a little rubber plug at the bottom inside of the door and pulled it. Out came about a quart of water. Apparently I have a leak into my trunk door. I have an appointment Thursday.
