Anyone vendors have one? I'm trying to buy but everyone's out of stock. Sh*t!

PM me if you know of a source. I'm trying to get it installed before the 3/13 mini autox day here in Atlanta.

TIA,

Jeff

ps: Moderators--please don't move this if you get the inclincation. I'll delete it in a day or so. Thanks.

Have you tried h-sport.com? I think they have them in stock. This is what the web site says.

"Retail price: $221.00

This item is currently Usually Ships in 2-4 days"

Whatever that means.

Andy

Jeff,

No one has them. They are dried up. I currently have one on order with H-sport, but I spent the last week or so calling everyone. Either they don't have any in stock or the drop ship them from H-Sport. It will probably be about 3 more weeks. A machine is broken at H-Sport and they are still waiting for parts. M7 drives to H-Sport and picks them up, they are only 5 or 10 minutes from him, Randy and everyone else that I could possibly think of are out. Sorry man.

I got mine about 2 weeks ago. Looks like just in time.

Cheers,

Jeff... I think RDR has a new bigger rear bar out... might want to check on that option...

dgszweda's comments are true.

A tooling machine broke, so shipping's on hold until they can get it replaced/repaired. I've also called all of their dealers that were retailers to no avail.

I must thank Peter at M7 who undertook his own hunt for one on my behalf. Really, really helpful. E-mailed and a couple of follow-up phone calls to give me status along the way.

The estimate at this point is something like 3-4 weeks for an h-sport bar, so it obviously won't be in time. Bummer.

Oh--and Jason--I looked and the RDR site was thin on details--it just has the bar that they've always had.

Jeff

Yeah ... you may want to call them I swear I heard that GRM was testing a bigger bar.... Ireland Engineering has some bars too with slinding link adjusters instead of holes to choose from ... sounds neat. I guess the best option is to wait it out for the H-sport comp bar...

One question... what class are you running? Hopefully STX or street prepared, otherwise you can't touch the rear bar... only the front bar can be modified in Stock class.

Cool... I was thinking about going that way myself when STX grows boring.

How competitive is the MCS in SM?

Depends on your local SM crowd.... so regionaly yes ... but at the National Level ..... No... For a FWD car to be competetive in SM It would have to be at minimum weight ... for a MCS that would be 1900 pounds... under the SM rules that is not possible...

DUDE!

You saved me. I'll call you tomorrow to arrange the details. Looks like I can do the autoX after all.

(Save an h-sport for me!)

Thank you--very much appreciated,

Jeff
