My right side muffler hanger bracket broke. When I tried to remove it, one nut came off fine. As I tried to remove the other one the stud started spinning. I looked under the carpet in the trunk and couldn't see the other side of it. I can cut the stud to remove the bracket but then I'm still stuck with the short bit in the body. Any suggestions?

May be time to go visit a muffler shop and see what they can do for you
