Hello,
Are the original brake pads on the 2008 Mini S ceramic or semi-metalic?

I need to replace the brakes and rotors but I really dont want to spend the extra cash on the EBC Green/Red and Higher end rotors since I'm thinking I'm gonna trade in my Mini S for a new Countryman in a few months.

if you just want plain stuff for a hold over check your local chain parts store . . .

 

I got a set of rear pads for $24.00 and fronts for $31 from autozone. Got them last month as a hold over to a full brake job when the weather gets nicer.

 

The original pads are semi-metalic.
