Yay! That's so exciting! I know that feeling!!

I ordered mine and got the production number the same day, Dec 27th, but due to the holidays it didn't go into production until the 13th of Jan (this is when I got my VIN) finishing production on the 23rd. He's on a boat now scheduled to hit port on the 15th!! These last two weeks are going to be the worst!!

Congrats. I'm in a similar boat. I have a number but my car hasn't hit the production line yet. I can't wait!

Thanks everybody! Yeah, I ordered my 08 Cooper and the anticipation is hilarious - like waiting for summer or xmas holidays when ur in grade school.

I am jealous of all of you who have the turbo - enjoy!! After having a 270 hp MB SLK I know the world's a better, safer place with me in a regular MC!

And for the record - I'm sorry i posted his on the main site, i didn't realize there was a site devoted to those on order. The mod can move this thread if they wish.

No worries, Ramorris, I did the same thing. I don't really think it matters.
I'm wondering if the world wouldn't be a safer place had I not gotten the S... I'll be going from a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire to a my 2012 CMS, basically no power to full power. LOL

Don't tell my husband but I kinda feel like this wait is just as hard as waiting for our wedding day! I felt like the day was never going to come and I'm feeling the same about my Countryman. Is it ever going to get here?!?! lol

I love the 6 spd and don't drive in bad traffic too much - so those together help alot to forego the turbo. And the second ticket in two months helped as well...

OK, your secret is safe with me... and all of us - I'm living for your delivery date vicariously!

What a coinkidink! I'm in Tx too! In Austin, but i bought my second one from Rob @ mini of San Antonio (highly recommended) - the sales guy in Austin was brain dead.

Where do they land? NOLA or Houston or where? R.

Texas is cool! lol I'm in College Station and I'll be the only CMS in town. There are two CM's, but I don't see them too much.
The guys at Houston dealerships were brain dead as well. So we ordered from Sewell Mini of Plano.

Got my order updated!!! Mini of SA had given me a production number but it was for a completely different car when I checked online but they updated it today and they've got everything right for my new Smurf Blue MC. Actually this isn't the original smurf blue mini - I have an 08 Cooper which is the Ocean Blue they discontinued the next year. Now that one was truly smurf blue!

So MiniMouse - any news on your progress? Do they land in New Orleans or where? Pretty cool youll be the only one in CS. I just saw one in my neighborhood in South Austin yesterday. Rats!

You know, I really don't know where they land. It's a great question. I'll atleast be the only Surf Blue. Of the two I've seen, one was PR and the other AB.

We are trying to get ahold of our MA now so we can figure out if MINIme is on a boat yet.
