Headlights?

I want to change the stock headlights on my 2006 r50.

Has anyone tried these? any pics?

Any other good looking headlights?

Thanks!

Frankly, I'd not consider any aftermarket headlights unless they were DOT approved. There is a science to designing reflectors and lenses. It takes highly trained and experienced lighting engineers to design them properly. I wouldn't trust that some small company has the resources to do this.

I also note that Andy's doesn't mention that HID upgrades to halogen housings are illegal.

I think your best bet is to get some factory lights and use those. Find a Mini that's been rear ended.

They don't look bad, but I don't remember seeing those exact ones before, I've seen Spyders before, but they were usually blacked out, I sort of like those.

EDIT:

Yes, I have seen those before, usually the LED's are simulated to be on in other pic's I've seen, personally I'm not to up on the "psydo Audi" LED thing anymore, just me.

headlights

A little bit ago i was having problems with the xenon lights on the car. i found that i would have to replace the complete light assembly. i looked and found the Spyder lights and ended up getting the ones with the clear backs. They look close to stock other than the led's on the side.

I would love to have the LED Audiesque "eye brows" in my R53 and been wondering about these options. My R53 has the standard halogen headlights (no washers on the chrome rim).Anyone else has done it?
