im thinking of ordering this but im a little confused because on the main page it shows it as a glossy photo but when i open up to here in the detailed page the picture shown is a satin finished scuttle like this:

has anybody ordered from here before? and what do you thinkof these scuttles? I only like them if they are glossy finished

this is how my car looks.

 

The perimeter of the scuttle is the textured black plastic.
The center line and half-circle next to the turn signal marker is a glossy black plastic.

do you have any idea if the dimensions are the same as the standard cooper s scuttle?

i quite like this over the standard cooper s one and i think it looks sportier ^^

 

I ordered them last week for the girlfriends mini and they are sitting around while we decide if shes keeping the car. IMO they look nice and the finish it good. I think it was worth the money and they look so much better than the tacky 07 MCS scuttles.

 

Yes it fits, I have these on my JCW, a 5 minute job

 

sorry i should have been more clear! i know that they fit! but for some reason they look smaller in size than the standard MCS scuttles. widthwise.

are they? just curious before i put an order in

 

They are exactly the same size in length, width, height

 

I put these on my 2010. I like them a lot better than the stock S scuttles. They seem to fit tighter as well.

 

These came stock on my '12 Justa... Changed em out for UJ scuttles.

 

Love these. Clean gloss black. Fits all S and non-S models. If you have the older lense, this is a nice upgrade too.

 

I'm confused - is $47.95 for a pair, or each? Their ordering page says both: "Priced as a set of 2" right above the comp ability list, then "priced individually" below the list. Confusing and lame.

I got these a couple of weeks ago, the JCW ones. I like the bit of chrome to match the grille on my 08 S. They come with gloss black backers, even though the picture just shows the insert. I will post a picture when I get to washing my car.

The price was for the pair, it was about $90 shipped with the NAM discount. Sorry to hijack the original thread, I just wanted to give another option. I like how these match the look in the rear bumper and the grille.

Both the Justa black ones, and the JCW scuttles are a nice change from the standard ones that come on an S model.

I am not seeing the "priced individually" note on our website as noted. There is a very clear note stating : "Priced as a set of 2" (google Chrome and Firefox)

 

I got those on my car and have had them since 2011. They look good and I think I spent somewhere around the same price at the dealership.

 

I put these on my car recently with the Black LED markers and I love them. The housings/scuttles were less than $50 before s&h.
