I get to bring my mini cooper s home today after the cluth gave out on me a few days back. YEAh

I just wanted to know if ths happened to anyone else.
As i was driving the Check engine light came on and as i was aking a turn dropping the gear from 3rd to 2nd and a weird clunking sound (scared the **** out of me)
I came to full stop tried the put my MCS in first but NO GOOD my clutch just wouldnt engage. had to tow it to shop and they quoted me $2k ( checked with 2 differnet shops)
the whole clutch system was replaced. I woudnt want to wish this upon anyone was one of the most terryifying expereinces
