Not sure if this is a problem or if I'm just paranoid, but does anyone else get a slight idle hunt on the MCS? It's not much, it just ticks up and down slightly during idle.

 

Mine does that too. It's not much but a little rougher than other cars I've owned.

 

Great. I was planning on running some Seafoam through since it just hit 40k miles but I'm still unsure of the process so I'm looking through local Mini forums to see if someone can show me how to do it properly through the PCV.

 

Mine only has about 4,000 miles so it might just be an electronic thing.

 

Mine does it on a warm start. Sounds like it comes just shy of stalling, hunting slightly to idle as low as it can muster. 14k miles on my stock MCS.

 

I've also been getting a bouncy idle. it's been more up and down the last few days. Was planning on calling the dealership tomorrow to get a quick answer if it's normal. Appears to be. I have 20k miles.
