Winter Drive anyone?!? Saturday, January 28!

Hello Everyone!

So winter is Finally upon us and most of you have tucked your MINI away for the season. But all that seems to do is make you long for windy roads and summer! Well I can't change Wisconsin's winters. But for those of you that still "rock" your MINI through out the whole year like I do, we may have a drive for you! Door County in the winter time is beautiful! Many of the road are cleaned and taken care of just like in town around Appleton. What makes this really cool is Cave Point County park. Ice grows on the rocky ledges along the Michigan coast line and makes for some very cool pictures. So bring your camera! There are also great stops along the Green Bay side as well. During the drive we will be stopping for breakfast and an optional late lunch. This is an easy drive with two pick up points. The first at MINI of the Fox Valley were we will depart at 8:00am sharp on Saturday, January 28. The Second is at a McDonald's/ BP gas station (1130 Green Bay Road, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235-3817) in Sturgeon Bay we will stop for a quick breakfast around 9:45am. After breakfast we will be setting off for our drive at 10:30am sharp. Hope to see you there! Safe "winter" Motoring everyone!

Matson

P.S. Hey guys/gals, this is winter. So if the day of or the day before the drive we get snow it is safe to say that the drive will be planned for another date. We will do our best to let you know how everything is shaping up for the day of the drive. Also if you have tucked away your MINI and still want to join us you are more than welcome!

Door County "winter" pre-run!

Hello Everyone,

The pre-run I did this past Saturday went great! Ice was forming along the Michigan coast line and parts of Green Bay are freezing up nicely. Lets hope that Mother Nature plays nice and lets us enjoy Her beauty this coming Saturday the 28. Please check back with this post on Thursday the 26, if you are interested in joining us for the "Winter Drive". We will then have a better idea of what the weather will be for the day of the drive. Hope to see you there! And safe winter Motoring everyone!

So it's snowing...

As you might of seen out side it is snowing, so does that mean we still have a drive? Well from what I have last checked from the Weather Channel.com at 10:15pm. It looks like it should still be a nice on Saturday, and maybe a few flurries through out the day. So like what is posted above by "03BRG" everything is still a "GO". Hope to see you there. :-)
