So i read a thread about doing a front sway bar swap on a r53 mini. I assume the swap is basically the same with the r56 but do i really need to pull the subframe down?? I figure it will definately be easier but any flat-rate tricks would be nice.
No need to use a bigger bar in front. You need a bigger bar in the back.
Well the way i see it is that when racing, you hit the breaks before the turn causing the nose of the car to go down putting pressure on the front suspension before and while turning. Ill do a rear sway bar later in the year.
And i figure you would have to drop the subframe :(
The point of upgrading the rear sway bar is to eliminate the understeer inherent in the R56 in stock form. Upgrading the front sway bar will probably give you even more under steer.
The front sway bar doesn't really stop nose dive while breaking.
Well with the weather now I'm not going to do the front sway bar outside so maybe when the weather gets warmer ill just do front amd rear at the same time and I wont have to wory about those issues
