Very nice vid! I am a bit jealous as I am about 2.5 hours north right on Lake Michigan and we only got a max of 2" of snow. I really wanted to go out and play, but it didn't seem like it would be much fun with the roads already cleared up.

We had over a foot of snow to drive through several times last year, my lowered JCW didn't get stuck a single time.
I am running snow tires from wallyworld. This is the 3rd car I've had them on now and I couldn't be happier with them.
Nice job with the vid! I must admit I was expecting to see some donuts or some e-brake slides though.
It's not about not liking the snow....it's about how much damage I get on my car after winter season. Today is not snowing anymore BUT the problem is all that salt now on road. Problem is that it will be like that by next 2-3 months. It's just beginning of bad stuff for cars here in northern Indiana. Next we will see pat holes everywhere. People who have to live in that, know what I'm talking about. Sure it's fun for one or two times.... Till
You see how the car looks after winter season.
Next time I'll do donuts. With all the snow I wouldnt risk to hit curbs etc. This is my daily driver and not a toy car

cub4bearindiana, those of use who enjoy lake effect snow know what you mean. I'm far from scared of driving in the snow and don't let it stop me from doing anything, but I'm not going to purposefully do something stupid and risk my daily driver or myself. Though unless you drive a beater for the winter you'll have the same issues for any car with the salt and pot holes. I just do the best to avoid them, which usually you can especially on your common trips. I certainly would love to have a winter car that I don't care about, but then I'd be bored half the year driving a car I don't like! Just my opinion
Hey cub4,
I live just to the south of you in Warsaw. My 02 R53 handles amazingly well in the snow (even when I still had run flats). It's funny because sometimes on really snowy days when I drive home from work (and before the snow plows do their job) the car will drag the ground. Those drives are a bit scarey. I picked up an 09 JCW over Christmas, and while I drove home yesterday through the snow, I'm afraid the aero kit is going to force me to keep it off the road for most of the winter...

Hehehe, I plowed some snow yesterday with my cooper S but nothing to crazy. It was light dusty snow. I'll be more afraid in few days when you get all these big icy blocks of snow laying randomly on streets. Anyway, lake effect is over and it's sunny now. In 2-3 days should be back to upper 40s F. Another car wash to rinse off all that salt.
