Opinions Needed and Appreciated! (08 Cooper S Wheel help)

Hello everyone, first time starting a thread on here. I have a lightning blue 08 Cooper S, and I'm trying to decide what wheels I should get for when I bring the car out of storage in the Spring.
I pretty well have my heart set on white wheels, but I'm not opposed to any opinions. Also thinking about going with 17 x 8 with a 205 40 tire, and I believe the lowest offset without rubbing is around 38? Also, I plan on getting some H&R lowering springs as well.

Thanks for any opinions in advance!

you could just powdercoat the wheels you have on there. I think they're very classy as is.

BBS LM or SSR type F would look good.

Here is a picture of my laser blue/black MCS with challenge spokes. I don't know what look you are going for, but I am pretty happy with these for my taste.

If you are curious as to what Wheel Style or Color would look like on your MINI go to www.wheelsnext.com, there you can upload a profile pic. of your MINI and plug & play many different options.

Hope this helps!! It is how I decided on just the right wheels for Molly!!

I would do the white wheels...but as someone earlier said, just paint the wheels you have. I think they would be perfect since their would not be a lot of white on the wheel, but would be enough to compliment the roof.
Go for it! ..the worst that happens you change it back to the original

I love BBS, but they are a bit pricey for me right now. I've been thinking about painting or powder coating my current wheels. The car is in winter storage until April, so I still have time to decide.

White wheels? Are you crazy? The brake dust would be insane.
