My new experience with my CamdenMCS....

http://youtu.be/cvet45XyMjM

So I purchased my 2010 Camden MCS(35,350miles) November 30 that just past,.. after test driving it a couple times, nothing hard nothing long....(<---LoL) and made the desicision. Well the next day I started to get a little bolder with the clutch, with a faster take offs at 1800-2100rpm and I noticed this sound.
took me a day and I found this youtube vid I actually didnt think it was serious so did what I thought was the smart thing and schedule with BMW just like the dealorship would have said.

I never experienced clutch problems with these symptoms before and was still wary,.. so I made an appt with Mini of Austin because I had heard alot of Negs about BMW of San Antonio about everything. Sceduled for the 24th Dec, hey, I bought the extended warranty, no need to worry,....THINK AGAIN

well the 20th came along and that noise you hear in the vid above matured into a raging @$$**** to the point that the car was pretty much limping. Volvo of San Antonio where I bought it says take it to Mini/BMW it under warranty.

Well BMW after all is said says "wear and tear", I say I just bought this vehicle 3weeks ago/under 900 miles of usage.
They say "it possible to do in 400 miles"
I say, ya,..if me or my wife like doing burnouts and autocrossing at Willow Springs twice a week, so I dont think so".
They say "needs a new clutch kit", 3100.00 dollars !!!!

So we limp the car back to Volvo where I talk to the Sales Manager, Cesar.
After all the BS and politeful reasoning, he says 1000 dollars on my end and he'll give me a loaner.

So he sells me a car with 3100 or a 1000 dollars in repairs needed, at Christmas time. Thanx alot !
He puts the blame on the Service dept and acually tries to say that it "He's taking some of the damage and that its coming out of his pocket".
( ya right, I'm so f**king sure!!! but I'm being polite)^^^
So 1000$'s later here I am. I will never do buisness with Volvo of San antonio EVER AGAIN.
This guys even has the b@lls to even tell me that, BMW "said that, since I drive a Modded Z(301 RWHP on a Superflo. 50Kmiles of mods and OEM clutch), that its quite possible I burnt the clutch" I know that was BS cause he's the only one I said anything to and seen my Z.
I took that as an insult.... to me and my intellegence and POLITELY told him.
Volvo of San Antonio NEVER AGAIN !!!

Now as for Mini/BMW of San Antonio......

Serveral people had warned me about them that everthing from customer service to service dept was terrible.

So I scheduled with Mini/BMW of Austin like everyone else I know with . Well since the symptoms completely spiraled, I had kinda no choice and went to SA.
They are not rude, but they are brief and understaffed, gave me really no customer service above the image there. The place is way classier looking than what they treat you with. I'll still can't get over 3100.00 freeking dollars!!!

Sorry to hear of your trouble, but did you happen to get a pre purchase inspection? Like a second opinion from a different doctor? Any 1/2 way competent mechanic should have been able to tell you that the clutch was going before you bought the car. $150-200 spent before you bought it could have saved you $800 after...
