After 3 years of being outside the MINI family it's good to be back. My wife and I finished consolidating from our 2 previous cars down to 1 by picking up our Countryman S over the weekend.


We wanted something that was really fun to drive, had lots of techno goodies (nav, adaptive xenons, paddle shifters), 4 doors, and easy on gas. The Countryman S fills that bill better than anything else we test drove. The Golf GTI 4 door was a close second.

We ordered the car back in late September since we couldn't find one with the specs we wanted (mostly fully loaded, but picky about not wanting some of the things in some of the packages). Finally picked it up last Friday and it's been a blast ever since!
