I have passed A LOT of minis this week, and I mean more than I ever remember seeing around town. All around Nora, Castleton, etc.

Have only gotten 1 wave though, lol

 

I've seen much more this year than ever downtown.

I've found that the closer to downtown or Castleton you get, the fewer waves you'll receive.

I'm one of the rare ones that waves (or flashes lights because of my tint) to all MINIs I see...but rarely get a wave back. I guess, that's what I get for living & working downtown.

Only we can keep the wave alive!

 

I catch myself starting to wave even is I am not in the MINI. Back when we bought our first MINI almost everybody in a MINI would wave back, but that was 9 years ago.

I think a lot of MINI's out there now are on thier 2nd or 3rd owner and they did not get the message.

 

I did this today, was driving our Element and saw a mini and started to wave, then I realized what I was doing and stopped.
