Well, not actually Carbon Fiber, but wrapped as such.

Yeah. Just waiting for Lyle to get his CM so he can sort out the door handle removal.
Looks great. I like the roof rack. I had the same idea, and now Im glad to see it actually done. My black CMS All4 lands in Brunswick tonight! Lots of mod parts already waiting in the garage.

was it vinyl wrap that you used for the rack as well?
Well, not me but Vinyl-Styles (Lyle) did. Won't affect putting any of the attachments at all on it.
See the first post here. there's a link showing all that was done. But yes, the belt-line is also blacked-out.
I'm late getting to this thread and came across it while searching for info on CF vinyl wrapped scuttles but I have to say that is without a doubt the hottest looking CM I've seen to date. I can't wait for my wife to dump the minivan and get one!
This looks fantastic. I'd love to do something similar on my all-black All4. How does this work if you're on the East Coast? Does he send you the pre-wrapped parts, and you send him your unwrapped parts in exchange, and it's up to you to find an installer ?

Give lyle a call. He's a good guy and I think he does something like that.
Not something to worry about. They are not airtight. There are several vents in them to begin with. I did a write up last year when I did mine. I have haven't had a single problem with mine since.
Except for all the ogling! ;-)
If I had to do it over again, I would do the black instead of true blue, I'm jealous of yours!

How did you do your lights? Yourself or did you have someone else do it?

I did it myself, I doubt you would be able to find someone who would be willing to take on the perceived risk of putting an $1100 headlight in an oven.
The reality is that it is very safe if you have an oven that can hold the temperature you set it to. It took me two hours and I all I did was follow the instructions from the 2nd Gen forum. It is a nerve racking mod, but is fairly easy if you are a little bit handy. IF you want to go for it feel free to PM me and I can go into more detail.
