Well, finally got 75% of the chrome replaced on our CM. Took it in and they replaced the strips on all four doors, the rear quarters and around the trunk. The only part left is the piece at the bottom of the windshield (supposed to have part on Jan 5).

Also had them reprogram the computer to eliminate that crazy stall/hesitation that sometimes happens at the most inopportune moment. Will see if it works!

 

Zaftig was in for another reason and Passport told me the chrome was in and they would replace it. They said they replace all the pieces to make sure it's OK. Got it back and they had only replaced 3 pieces. Way to go, MINI.
