2008 Clubman Split Door Lock Frozen

Anyone know how to manually release a stuck door lock on the left side split door for a 2008 Clubman? Last week it would not open, we checked the handle and the electric lock is getting power when pressed. Anyone know how to manually make it release? If not we have to cut the latch to get it open as you cannot change the lock with the door shut. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also any suggestions on where to pruchase a new lock!

Cut it off and replace the electric lock, $50 bucks.

alex does it work now? Did you get the part from Mini? My split door was jammed (by a seat belt) and now you have to put pressure on the top of the outside of door and then pull the handle to get it open.
