From what I've read, the aftermarket route results in the same (or better) installation, with more options and is cheaper. (That and BMW supposedly just jobs this out anyway).

Can anyone suggest an installer in the Phoenix, AZ area? Hopefully, one that will come to me as I'd hate to leave my car somewhere for a day as I just got it.

Thanks.

Can someone offer some suggestions for an invisishield installer in the Phoenix area? I'm doubtful that no one has any input on this.

Do you have a garage? It's really not that hard to do on your own. It's a
time consuming process though. http://www.autoclearguard.com has 2 different
clear bra's. One by Xpel which is one large sheet (kind of challenging for
first timer) and one by Invidica (sp?) which comes in smaller pieces.

I installed the Xpel one..took about 3-4 hours and 3 days to dry completely.
I cooked it under a heatlamp for a couple hours on the 3rd day cause it was
just too cold outside at the time.

Not to burst you bubble, but a friend of mine in Tucson had the invisishield stuff applied in Phoenix to his car and liked it. Problems occurred when some of the material came off WITH the paint. The installer said it was my friend's problem and not his! Needless to say, he will NEVER consider this stuff again!

AlanB- was that factory paint ? Did your friend heat it up pretty good while
he pulled it back? Ive seen clearbra's taken off non-factory paint work without
any problems...so when its time for mine to be replaced Im just going to take
my time and heatgun it until it is very soft and just pull VERY slowly.

took me 3 hours to put it on..ill take 3 hours to take it off.
