Frank the Tank is here!

Sorry I didn't post these up right away, as most of you know, I've been recovering from sinus surgery. Here are a few quick shots I took in my driveway.

Car is named "Frank the Tank" because Coupe reminds me of "Snoop a loop" from Old School. See clip here for reference: http://youtu.be/AutCYC3dH-E

PS - I did get the $750 off, did not have to even attend the event. No questions asked. Driving has been a blast so far, it's going to be sad garaging it next week while I'm out at SEMA.

PPS - no one has been staring :( I guess Ohioans are just too boring.

They are so envious that they don't want to give you the satisfaction.

Beautiful car and photos, I love your use of black with the red.

Congratulations! You just can't go wrong with Chili Red, and it looks great with all of the black accents. Did you get the Rooster Red interior, or skip that? (One of the myriad Coupés I configured was CR/B with Rooster Red interior, but my semi-OCD wouldn't let me mix the 2 reds)

Glad your feeling better enough to share the photo. Good looking car. Looking forward to seeing if there are any reactions here.

Actually if you get the red on the door swirls and just the top of the dash, can't recall exactly what the option is the red matches the paint perfectly. You can see it in my gallery. I got that option and it looks great. I too did not get the red option on the lower part of the dash or the arms on the car as that color red does not match the car. But on the plastic parts it does.

I really like the look and with the red stitching and the LL Championship red seats the car is awesome. My MA helped me out with that and warned me about the color difference. He steered me the right way and boy am I happy.

You can look in my Gallery to see the effect. The pictures are not the greatest but i will update them pretty quick.

By the way 384 miles on the car and it is just SICK. I love this car. Best car I have ever owned. I like it wayyyyyyy more than my GTO and it was a fun car but nothing like this JCW Coupe. I'm one happy Mini customer.

Kbeaner522, that is a great looking car. Looks very familiar. Chile red really is the only real color. Congratulations on your new ride. It's sweet!!

I got the Rooster Red interior, which is a little different from Pat's interior. His is the plastic door parts, etc, where mine is the arm rest and the lower dash. I got black where Pat's is red. It is not the bright red of Pat's, but a more subdued red since it's "leather". I like it. I had an interior shot, but it didn't look great. I'll try to take more pics before I leave this weekend.

I also wish you could control what speeds the spoiler goes up and down. Most of my driving is city, so I hardly ever get to see it... unless I speed.

Winter project = painting the calipers red.

My other favorite has always been Chile Red/Black. Your color combo along with the solid black arches of the S model....and especially with the black wheels....make it a standout. While I'd order it without stripes (my two R53's had stripes) it could be my next combination three years from now....for the sake of change. Looks fabulous....enjoy!

Love, love, love it! We have a CR/B 05 S, and looking at these coupe pics I think I would have a hard time getting it in a different combo. I like the blue with silver, but CR/B is so hard to beat... Keep the pics coming!!!!

*** Oh - and I LOVE the name as well. I would name mine the 'red dragon'. Not exactly street legal, but let's keep that on the down-low.
