Coin holder?

Where do you keep loose change in this thing? Anyone have any ideas or use any aftermarket product to keep it from rattling around?

I use 2 of the rubber stoppers they give you on delivery...your MA should have shown you how you install them on the center rail to create a coin area. I put one right below the AUX connection point and another an inch backand BAM, my new coin holder/spot/place!
You rcar should have come with 2-3 rubber stops, 2-3 clip on hooks all inside the sunglass case.

you may not want to use one of your cupholders, but...if you do...walmart and other such places sell a coin holder that fits in your cupholder...its spring loaded and sized to fit quarters, nickels, dimes, pennies. its under 10 dollars.

That's a great idea! Why didn't I think of that?

As per this thread below, I use two old 35mm film canisters. One for my wheel locks, and one for loose change...

Those canisters are great. I have a few at home and can re-purpose one for coins - why didn't I think of that. Anyone know where I can get a couple more?

My countryman came with an ashtray that fits into a cupholder. It has a lid and will hold plenty of change. I don't smoke so I repurposed it to hold coins.

I keep it in one of the backseat cupholders so the front ones can stay open for other uses (like holding my cell phone since the actual cellphone holder has already fallen apart after 1 week of use ).

HA mine fell apart too, and I couldn't figure out how to put it back together. I took it to the dealer and they didn't know either and just ordered me a new one. I got it about 2 weeks later.

This seems to work as well as any. Only quarters for parking meters. The rest goes into a coin bowl.

That's where I keep mine. A total pain to get at it if I have anything in the cigarette lighter or the cupholders, but workable.

We didn't have our car an hour before our friend tried to take it off the track and spewed the parts everywhere. I was able to put it back together, but then it did it again recently so I took it out of the car. All it did was sit there and rattle anyways.

I use something similar to these in my truck except with a place for pennies as well. It's convenient in the drive-thru for exact change.
