Join the MINI Motoring Club of the Carolinas for our first annual Poker Run to benefit the pups of the North Mecklenburg Animal Rescue. The run will start at Cars & Coffee Northlake Mall, just arrive in the On the Border parking lot between 9am and 1030am to sign up and get your first card. The remainder of the locations will be posted here prior to the event and addresses will be available at registration as well. Time has been alloted for lunch and two of our stops are restaurants if you would like to partake. Our final stop will be Hendrick MINI where we will hand out the prizes. CoolRide Pix will also be on hand at one stop to photograph your MINI in their special way, these photos will be available for purchase on their website: www.coolridepix.com.

Hands are $5 each and there is no limit to the number of hands that you can buy. Cash prize of $100 to the best hand, raffle tickets will also be available for $1 and can win you some nice door prizes.

Here are the times and locations for the poker run, you must arrive at each location during the scheduled time frame or you will miss your card! I have allowed plenty of time to spend at each location along with drive time. You will also have time for lunch at your choice of 2 of our stops, or you can stop elsewhere if you choose. Car photos will be taken at Big Ben's and at the first stop I will be handing out some directions with some back road driving between stops. Hope to see you there, please spread the word! Back in CLT after a 3 week trip. Looking forward to it - will bring my Dad along as shotgun. He had a Mini from 1962 - 1980 so I think he'll enjoy a Mini event. See you all there!

THANK YOU! to everyone who came out and participated in the poker run today. I hope you all enjoyed it, this was my first poker run and I plan on making the next one even better!

Thanks to you all we raised $317 for North Meck Animal Rescue, we are going to make that $325 and one of our employers will match that amount so the rescue will receive a total of $650!!!

Congrats to the Decker's who one with a poker hand of 3 Ace's, and congrats to all the raffle winners.
