Mini was making a rattling noise coming from the super charger on the way to the shop the battery light came on and i lost power steering. At the shop the car was turned off and now it will not start. Super charger and alternator and water pump were replaced. Have also tried changing the clutch pedal sensor/switch and this has not worked either. My mechanic with the key in the ignition in the on posistion and in nuetral ran a cable from an electical harness on the driver side of the motor and touched that cable to the battery port in the engine and the car starts and runs but it will not turn on by using the key and pressing down the clutch. Any ideas?? Help!
