my little cousin is looking at an 04 justa with an automatic. anything i should warn her about? i seem to remember that there have been two different automatics in the r50s and that one of them was trash. so one question i have is which came in an 04 and was it trash?

other than that i am pretty familiar with all the standard issues with minis and i'm going to check it out for her. also i'm trying to convince her to get a stick. were all the manual justas 5 speeds, and how are those trannys holding up?

 

Run from the Justa autos, it's a CVT and it's a ticking time bomb.

Manual Justas were all 5spds. The 02-04 were the Midlands which had some problems, and the 05-06 were the 5spd Getrag which seems to be holding up better.
