R50/53 Outdoor car cover Question......
I've searched but wanted to get some reports back on which cover people are using and the material of the cover, NOAH etc.... There was a guy selling covercraft Noah covers but I can't seem to find him anymore. Some commented on Cal Car Cover as another good company, which are you using?
The Mini's in California at the port, I'm finally 7-10 days away from MOTORING, YYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAA

I bought the NOAH cover on Ebay. There is someone selling them there on a regular basis. $129.00 if you use the buy it now feature, it includes the cable and lock. The NOAH cover is bulky, but I generally do not carry it in the car. It does a great job and the fit is very nice for the MINI. We have had some good downpours here and as it says, it is not 100% rain repellant, but it did keep most of the rain off the car. I am happy with mine. Buy a california duster too. I don't like putting my cover on a dusty car.
MY $.02...I purchased the Stormweave Cover from California Car Cover over a year and a half ago. It is by far the best outdoor cover I have ever had. They also list the noah cover for about $20 more. Prices range from ($140-$160) In any case when I purchased I was sold on the Stormweave and could not be happier. Its lightweight so I put it in the boot and put it on when I park the car at work and at home. The only problem you have with it is on a windy day. I live in the northeast and its been an exceptionally bad winter...I have yet to wash my car in the last 6 months I just either dust it off or detail spray..all because of the cover.I'm sure one of the sites sponsers can help you out. Good Luck!!!
I had a bad experience with the MINI car cover sold by the MINI dealer. Buyer beware on this cover. Made from cheap plastic material and will scratch your paint even if your car is clean. I paid $198 and got ripped off big time

I ordered a MINI outdoor cover when I bought my car. When it arrived I opened the box, looked at the cover without removing it from the box and returned it to the dealer for a refund of my $119, (paid dealer cost but it was still a ripoff).

Thanks everybody, I'll look into one of the two covers talked about. I already read about the bad experiences with the Mini covers so those were not even options.
If anybody has any links to car cover companies besides, Cal Car Covers please post it or PM me. Thanks in advance

after disappointing results with many other fabrics, i finally have a cover that i really like: custom fit uncoated tyvek from coverking. if they don't list the cover numbers on their website, the mini is MN2001, the mcs is MN2002.
they were $90 a year ago, $109 a few months ago.
i tried the coated tyvek, but it doesn't breath at all.
