has anyone put hids in the stock fog lights ? or will the lens melt from the heat ? or know of a blue blub thats matches the head lghts ...

i wanted to match my zenon headlights that are kinda blue ..

I've had 6000k 35w HID in my R53 fog housings for over a year with no issues whatsoever!!

 

Me also, just make sure their 35w and you'll have no issues with melting. The 55w WILL melt the stock housing. I did a whole write up on this project, it's burried in the modifications/inteeior/exterior threads somewhere.

+1 They make good stuff. I put a set of those in the GTO I used to have. Never had any issues with the kit.
