Just finished with a Bath

So after driving ½ way across country, finding a chunk of concrete in the middle of the highway that put a hole in the transmission pan. Being towed to the only Mini dealer around(which happened to be in Nebraska). Sitting there a MONTH, then being professionally hauled the rest of the way across the country THIS is how the car eventually made it to me. FILTHY.
The dirt “spots” on the hood after the wash turned out to be HUGE water spots, in the paint. Not on it IN it. Took 10 hours and 2 days of work AFTER work, I got rid of 95% of the defects. I really need to quit doing this by hand..On with the pics.

Boy what a difference you accomplished! But...... Do yourself a favor and get a Porter Cable or the like to assist you. Reach the AFTER pictures much faster.

Glad to hear that you were able to clean it and get rid of most of the damage. Going across the country in a Mini sounds really awesome!

Well done. Did you use clay bar to remove the water stains?
