Do any even exist?!
I own a 2006 R50 Mini Cooper, with a DDM Intake, Borla Catback, and H-Sport 19mm Sway bar.

I'm now starting to look towards cosmetics to really make my mini cooper an absolute eye catcher and something that shows off originality.

Now I see all these really bad *** body kits for the mini cooper, for example, the orciari body kit.

The problem is they all require the Center Dual Exhaust.

I already spent a chunk of change on my borla and i do not want to put it to waste.

Is there any body kits out there that fit the base r50 minicooper??

Please help, appreciate it.

 

I think the first gen aero kit fits, except the back part due to the exhaust? Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will chime in.

Sounds like a nice ride, I have an '06 as well with very similar mods. See my sig.. the Borla is great!

 

The r50 got its own aero kit rear bumper...

 

There is an OEM aero kit for the R50. However, they are hard to find because it was discontinued (after all, the R50 ended production over 4 years ago).

 

I appreciate the help. I think worse comes to worse. I'll try to find front and side skirts of a cooper s body kit that won't look absolutely ridiculous with my stock rear.

As for the borla exhaust, definitely adds a very nice deep growl to the mini that makes heads turn. People always debate whether or not the growl is actually coming from my mini haha.

Yes, that's it! The vendor is in the UK, but it's an option if you can't find it in the US and you're serious about wanting it.

A few years ago, MINIUSA stopped selling the R50 and R53 aerokit as a complete package, but you might be able to assemble the kit by buying all of the parts separately. Mini Mania sells the Aero kit that you're talking about, if you're willing to cough up $1,650...

Yeah I discovered the one on Minimania also, its pretty pricey though for a pretty basic kit
