Help me find a solution!!

Hey everyone,

So, plain and simple. My Mini has a chrome strip on the back bumper and two chrome strips on the front. I personally don't like it, and don't want to spend the money to get new bumpers. What do you think about vinyl wrapping them? This looks like the same bumper I have but note that they are BRG where the chrome bars are supposed to be.

Yep go for it. Right now I am in a similar situation. I haven't had the time to figure out how to remove the bars without scratching the hell out of the surrounding paint, so they are electrical-taped as a stop-gap:

The chrome across the trunk comes off very easy. Just a few screws and a wiring harness. I plasti-dipped mine. As far as the chrome around the grill, it pops off and cN be replaced with black trim from out motoring or plasti-dipped.
My MINI is chrome free
