I got an 03 mini cooper s and I'm about to install an air intake but I'm kinda confused between these two kinds. So could you guys please let me know which one is better. I know it's not gonna be that big difference but which one of them sounds better ?

K&N will suck in more hot air and possible be louder. I currently have a K&N and have a Alta waiting to be installed. If you want a K&N I'll sell you mine once the car gets back from being painted.

 

I have the Alta on my '05 MCS and I love it. It sucks alot of air and makes quite a bit of noise. The supercharger is noticeably louder too.
