Hello everybody,

I just purchased my first Mini Cooper S and actually got a MC40 Monte Carlo edition. There are a few things missing on the car.....:(
I am looking to get the original commemorative number which is mounted on the center console, I am in contact with MiniUSA (they confirmed it's an original MC40 but still try to find the corresponding number to the VIN#) but was just wondering if any body of you guys have an MC40 and is there any other way to find out the number.
I am also looking for an original shift **** with the red 40Anniversary logo on it.
Last not least I need an original set of R90 two piece alloy wheels.....

I am in the same situation. I purchased a MC40 a few weeks ago and the commemorative number plate is missing. I have not had any luck with the miniusa 800 number or at the local dealer. Have you had any luck with your number or plate?

I was able to find out where the car was originally sold and the lady at that dealer sales department is following up. MiniUSA was no help at all at this point. We are in contact with Mini Germany and the company who manufactured the plates, no luck at this point. I am two month into it without success, I keep you updated.......:(
