OE Exhaust

I replaced the exhaust on my 2004 Cooper S several years ago and am stuck with the original equipment exhaust. It is in perfect condition and I hate to take it for scrap metal. Do any of you have any suggestions of what to do with it or how to sell it?

Thanks

You could list it on the marketplace here, you never know. Someone might be looking to go back to stock for some reason and need one.

I left my stock cat-back with the mechanic who installed my aftermarket one, didn't want to lug it home in the back!

New, these systems are quite expensive....

List it up as a "pick up only" item, I am sure it would sell.

I lucked out. My mechanic bought mine after he installed my OBX system so he could use it to replace the exhaust on a MINI he had for sale on the lot.

Where are you? My stock exhaust is pretty close to rusting out so if I'm close by I'd be interested.

I sold mine to an R50 kid for dirt cheap. I figured it was better to get somethin out of it than it just sit around my garage, and he wanted to go for the swap. Got $150 for it

@jeffm . I'm in Charleston SC but if you feel like making that drive you are welcome to it!

Also, thanks to everyone for their responses, I'm new to NA Motoring.

My wife hasn't been too happy about the massive lump of metal I've had in the garage for a few years but I can bring myself to just scrap it!

Great topic!

I've got two catback exhausts in my garage! One out of a '02 MCS with 35 k. on it and an '03 MCS ,with 18K's plus the OE header/cat from the '03!
Yep got a pretty big garage. Right now they make nice wall hangings but if anyone in my local is interested give me a pm.
