The March Road & Track has a MINI ad insert with a bunch of punch-out cones to make your own slalom with. The small print mentions that the MCS beat the Viper and 911 Turbo in the R&T slalom test.

nope, I for one could never afford one, and if I can get the same handling prowess from a $20k car, screw the porsche. And man, I think of all the parking lot worrying I do with my Cooper, and imagine if I had a $150k car at pick n save! Not worth it.

cheers, jason

Great handling is the very reason that I bought a MINI, even after owning several sport cars including a 911 Turbo. Although MINI doesn't have the most hp, it is so............... fun to drive. Puts a big on my face.

Uhh, I would think that if you could afford one, someone else would be shopping at Pic N Save for you!

I would rather take the Porsche and the Viper any day. If you have ever mashed the go pedal on any of those cars, you will imediately ditch the MINI...speed is addictive...

Right - if you can afford a 911 Turbo, you most likely have an 'around town' car, too. At least the people I know that own 911 Turbo's do...
