I was disappointed when they announced the US release of Senna was very limited, and Charlotte wasn't one of the cities. Well, someone did something about it A guy we met yesterday at Cars & Coffee is organizing a limited screening of it. There's a premiere party on Aug 30th where various NASCAR, ALMS, Grand-Am, etc drivers will be there to sign autographs.... Riley Technologies is supposed to bring out a DP car to show off... and they're trying to get a few other teams to show off their cars as well. After that, it will show several times a day on Sept 2-4.

He said if this works out well, it may turn into a regular thing. He mentioned trying to bring over "TT3D"... a 3D documentary about the Isle of Man TT... and we asked about the possibility of screening "Truth in 24" which he said he was looking into as well. Same organizer, same place. The premiere is Tuesday night and will have a few other goodies to go along with it.... drivers to sign autographs, cars on display, etc... but yeah, it's also playing that Friday-Sunday at several times during the day.
