Stereo install done.....

Okay, after reading about Albie’s stereo install last year, I couldn’t take it any longer.

I bought a few pieces but dropped off Oscar about a week ago to have everything installed and upgraded.

Here’s some pics...

I don’t have the receipt in front of me, the only brand I know is the Memphis subwoofer that he made an enclosure for. (I left the receipt at work)

With me supplying the amp and processor, the bill was just under 1800 bucks. The car sounds PHENOMONAL! I’m very happy with the results. I wanted to be able to crank up some stereo with the windows rolled down and hear them without distortion.

Unfortunately, I have one minor problem which I will discuss with them tomorrow but I lost my ability for the stereo to connect to my iphone. Even when I plug my phone in and try to choose “AUX”, it’s not there for me to click on. Not sure what that’s about but hopefully it’s a minor fix.

I”ll post what actual parts went into the stereo install tomorrow.

I just got back a few weekends ago but I’m sure I’ll be going down soon enough.

Honestly, I gave my installer an open checkbook but his purpose was to fulfill my needs and he felt spending any more on anything else was a waste in my case.

Tomorrow I’ll give a full list of what was installed.

Those look like Image Dynamics components up front. The Memphis sub is a good one. I wonder if the JL 13TW-5 would have fit in there. Not that the Memphis is bad, more thinking out loud since the JL will give you a bit more volume capability.

Did the amps go under the seats? I'm going to try and have everything under the seats of my Clubbie, including the sub, if possible.
