I am looking for a lid for the stock airbox for a Mini Cooper (I drive an '02 - although I do not think this part has changed any over time..). I broke one of the loops (catches) on one side...

Any sellers out there????

 

I drove around with mine broken for atleast 10K miles...then they both broke and I drove around like that for ~8K more miles....have you checked your MINI parts department?

 

i have one for an S incase you forgot to put the S in yout request, but i belive the box tops are different and will not work. sorry not much help. but if it works, i sell it really cheap.

 

agokart - wish I had just forgotten the "s" - but its just a regular MC!

yeagy - was afraid to check the Mini parts department... I am sure you can buy one, but I'm just not ready to take out the required home equity loan to buy it with. I currently have a BMP/Promini intake - I wanted to have the stock box as a fall back. I am not sure if I want to keep the intake or go to the stock box with a drop in K&N filter in lieu of the std Mini filter!
