Interior/Exterior Blue tint Mini headlamp covers; Anyone purchased these?
I just installed the blue light protection film kit from Lamin-X. They look great, while provide protection for the lights!!
It would be easier to install during warmer weather. I had to use a blow dryer to soften the film a little because it was a bit stiff from the cold temp. Unlike the clear film, the air bubbles are more visible on color film. Also due to the thickness, it's harder to work with. Hence, take you time when installing.

Thanks fellow members. I think I will order some this week. My headlamps are starting to get pitted from freeway driving to and from work. I know if a rock hits and breaks one of these covers it won't be a cheap replacement.
>>Looks good, wonder how it affects the light output of the xenons
In my case with 8000K color temp HID, no noticeable effect on the light coloration and no diminishing brightness either. When lights are off, the blue tint really matches well with IB or EB.

Looks great, Im thinking of the yellow pair for my MCS. Were did you get your 8000k lights? And did you put them in yourself? Thanks for your help.

I just installed the yellow film on my factory driving lights. Looks pretty good IMO.

Got them yesterday, installed them today. Results:
I really like the blue look on my IB.
They aren't nearly as thick as the clear ones (X-pel) I took off to put these on.
I didn't like the "handling tabs" that I had to cut off after installation. It was hard to cut them off cleanly so the edge would look natural.
But overall, I'm happy with them.
